Prácticas logísticas de proveedores de autopartes en México

Se abordan las prácticas logísticas en la industria automotriz mexicana, a partir de la relación proveedores de autopartes-plantas ensambladoras. Se propone el análisis en función de factores de resistencia logística, siendo los siguientes: i) Criterios de selección de proveedores, orígenes de materias primas o componentes; y normas de calidad. ii) Tecnologías de información, particularmente en el uso de estándares EDI. iii) Planteamientos logísticos derivados de la interfase proveedores-planta ensambladora y sus impacto en áreas logísticas (almacenes, transporte, inventarios, embalaje) y de producción. iv) Ejecución de cadenas de transporte nacionales e internacionales. El campo de investigación se centra en 10 estudios de caso de empresas productoras de autopartes instaladas en el corredor industrial San Juan deI Río-Querétaro-Celaya, a 200 Km. al norte de la ciudad de México. Los resultados permiten conocer e interpretar las condiciones logísticas de empresas de autopartes en esta región de especialización automotriz en México.
