Um modelo de otimização para o planejamento de tráfego aéreo

Este trabalho descreve um modelo de programação inteira aplicado ao Controle de Tráfego Aéreo com o objetivo de otimizar a ocupação do espaço aéreo em uma área e horários predeterminados. O modelo busca balancear o uso de aeródromos e alocação de setores do espaço aéreo controlado. Este balanceamento atende a demanda de tráfego, não excedendo a capacidade de controle dos slots e dos setores, dando prioridade aos vôos regulares, militares e VIP. Para tanto, o modelo divide o intervalo de tempo determinado pelos horários inicial e final em subintervalos regulares pequenos e analisa o carregamento da rede em cada um desses subintervalos.
