In order to evaluate more sustainable technologies and practices for the pavement area, the behavior of warm recycled asphalt mixtures was studied using conventional binders CAP 50/70 and modified by polymer CAM 60/85-E. Four asphalt mixtures were tested by binder: conventional hot mix, warm (no RAP) and warm mixtures with 25% and 50% RAP (replacing the total mass of virgin aggregates). The samples were design by Superpave methodology and evaluated for strength, deformability, adhesion and cohesion. The warm and conventional asphalt mixtures presented equivalent behavior and the use of modified binder increased the performance of the samples. There was a significant improvement in the properties of mixtures with the use of RAP, highlighting the significant increase in Flow Number and the positive results of adhesion and cohesion, probably due to RAP presenting modified residual binder with polymer.Downloads
