Abstract

O presente trabalho procura fazer uma análise das medidas de supressão de fatores que restringem a operação ferroviária. Em qualquer cenário político - econômico, o gerenciamento dos transportes é peça fundamental no desenvolvimento de uma nação, pois a eles competem o escoamento nacional da produção de seu parque industrial, de sua agricultura e de seus insumos. Por sua vez, o setor de transportes ferroviários que, em termos históricos constitui-se em uma das melhores soluções para o transporte de volumes de cargas de forma econômica a grandes e medias distancias, tem sofrido nos últimos anos os efeitos negativos do desbalanceamento na distribuição modal, além da gradual redução de investimentos no sistema como um todo.
