Author Guidelines

Free format for the initial submission

For the initial submission, authors have flexibility in the format and layout of their manuscript. While specific formatting is not required at this stage, the manuscript must include all standard sections of a scientific article (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, etc.).

All parts of the manuscript (text, figures, tables, and references) must be contained within a single file, with a maximum size of 12 MB, and must not include any author identification. For the initial submission, the file may be submitted in .docx, .rtf, or .pdf format.

Double or 1.5 line spacing is recommended to facilitate the review process.

Manuscript Length
The manuscript should not exceed 8000 words, including the title (maximum 120 characters, including spaces), abstract (maximum 250 words), keywords (3-5), main text, and references. Each table or figure is considered equivalent to 200 words.

References

For the initial submission, authors may use any bibliographic reference style, provided that the chosen style is applied consistently throughout the text. All references cited in the text must be included in the reference list, and vice versa.

Author Declarations

In the initial submission, authors must provide the following declarations in a separate document (click here to download the form):

  • CRediT Authorship Contribution Statement: This statement should describe the individual contribution of each author according to the roles defined in the CRediT taxonomy. All authors must also affirm their agreement with these descriptions for themselves and their co-authors.
  • Declaration on the Use of Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Technology: This declaration should explain how and in which sections of the text authors utilized AI-assisted technologies in the submission. It must also state that the authors assume responsibility for all content generated with the assistance of these technologies, or alternatively, that no AI-assisted technology was used in the research and preparation of the text.
  • Declaration of Competing Interests: In this declaration, authors must disclose any and all competing interests related to the research or, if applicable, state that no competing interests exist.
  • Data Availability statement providing details on where the data, models, and code supporting the research can be found.

In the published version of the manuscript, these declarations will appear between the end of the main text and the acknowledgments section.
